Hi,

If I may ask for your advice :

I would like to dev from Bottom Up an app.

It has to have scalability in user number.

Real time elements integration.

And tools that can me added, modified and or upgraded as you go.

MySQL back end.

Simple interface.

Do YOU think that Lisp is a good choice ?

What is the learning curve for it if you could give even an erroneus evaluation of a rate.

1 - 12 months.

Any other app for a better, quicker solution.

Thank you for your patience.

Lazlo.

It all depends on your knowledge and the application. I've worked in everything from C, C++, Pascal, VB, PHP, etc., etc., etc. The end of the day all languages are more or less the same. If it's something simple stick to php and MySQL....PHP provides a very easy to learn scripting language and you can find a lot of free code and pre-written functions.
